Public Liability Details

An organisation applying to exhibit at a Business Events Australia trade event must have public liability insurance to a minimum of AUD$10,000,000 per occurence which covers the destination of the event (Germany). Does your organisation meet this requirement?

It is a requirement that you supply a copy of your organisation's public liability certificate to Business Events Australia with your registration.

Tourism Australia collects your personal information when you choose to complete the event application form and to provide your personal information to us with your consent. Tourism Australia will use the personal information you provide to us to process your event application and should your application be successful, send information about the event and items to action both pre and post event, e.g. agenda, invoices, meeting schedules, itineraries and other information required to facilitate attendance at the event.

If you do not agree to the collection of your personal information, we may not be able to process your application or send you all of the additional information and material you will need to take part in the event.

If you are located outside of Australia and you choose to provide your personal information to us, please note that this data will be transferred to Australia for processing and storage. Tourism Australia collects, stores, processes and protects your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy. For any privacy-related queries, you may contact the Tourism Australia Privacy Officer via email at privacy@tourism.australia.com.

Tourism Australia will collect, store and process your personal information including all of the information contained in the Application Form, for the purposes of:

I. Administering and managing the Event, including that Tourism Australia will share your information with all relevant STO’s, suppliers and third parties involved in the delivery of the Event;  
II. Distributing your information to other event participants and sponsors; and 
III. Sharing with other Australian organisations with a similar purpose to Tourism Australia (such as state and territory tourism authorities) who are also involved in the Event. 
IV. Contacting you in the future for purposes relating to the Event or to promote future events
