Privacy collection statement
Tourism Australia collects your personal information when you choose to complete the event application form and to provide your personal information to us with your consent. Tourism Australia will use the personal information you provide to us to facilitate attendance at the event.
If you do not agree to the collection of your personal information, we may not be able to process your application or send you all of the additional information and material you will need to take part in the event.
If you are located outside of Australia and you choose to provide your personal information to us, please note that this data will be transferred to Australia for processing and storage. Tourism Australia collects, stores, processes and protects your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy. COVID-19 - Terms of Event Participation
In registering for a TA in-person event, the delegate also agrees to the following:
- Mandatory attendance tracking
- Adherence to the relevant government health and work safety advice in the location of where the event is held
- Adherence to social distancing and hygiene protocol
- Abstaining from an event if closer to the event date the delegate develops or displays any symptoms that are similar to COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat and runny nose)
A delegate should not attend the event if displaying symptoms of COVID-19.
Upon review of your ability to meet the criteria outlined above, Tourism Australia reserves the right to cancel a delegate’s participation at an event in order to ensure that high levels of safety are maintained for all event participants.
The delegate acknowledges that if Tourism Australia cancels a delegate’s participation as the result of the delegate’s failure to meet the criteria outlined above, the delegate has no right of action, claim, proceeding or demand against Tourism Australia for such cancellation.
