To be accepted as a participant at the Business Events Australia North America Roadshow 2026 (the Event), you must demonstrate to Tourism Australia (TA) that you meet the selection criteria. The selection criteria and the terms and conditions of participation govern your participation in this Event.
By submitting an application, you agree to the selection criteria below, the terms and conditions of participation, and the Event Code of Conduct.
Australian Industry Seller selection policy
Consideration will be given to the following factors during the selection/assessment process of sellers:
- Space is limited
- The Event is designed for industry partners who will drive bidding for Australia and are experienced in the North America Market
- Preference will be given to Convention Bureaus, DMCs, and Hotel Groups rather than individual hotels and product
If the number of companies meeting the selection criteria exceeds supply for the Event, TA has the right to apply any or all of the following:
- Category and geographic limits in order to maintain a balanced representation of product; and/or
- Preference will be given for industry who will drive bidding and conversion for Australia, and their experience level in the market
TA reserves the right to not consider any registration or part thereof submitted after the registration deadline for the Event. Please note for the Australian Industry Seller registration that:
- Only one company can be represented for each exhibiting Australian Industry Seller's registration (i.e. no two companies/brands are able to share a registration for the Event).
Selection criteria
All applicants seeking to participate at the Event must demonstrate in their application that they comply with each of the following selection criteria. TA reserves the right to waive any of these criteria at its discretion and/or amend or reject any product or service, which is inconsistent with the criteria.
The mandatory requirements for Australian Industry Seller companies are as follows:
1. An Australian Industry Seller must be an Australian registered company paying applicable taxes in Australia;
2. The inbound incentive sector as a key focus of your business;
3. Endorsement of your product or service as internationally active in the relevant markets which may include evidence of:
- Attendance at more than one international trade event in the past year;
- Involvement in an international trade marketing activity with the relevant Convention Bureau or TA or your own international sales focused visit;
- Involvement with TA’s International Media Hosting Program (IMHP) and/or participation in a Business Event famil visit; and
- Evidence of international marketing and your own website.
In considering your submission, TA will review your ability to satisfy the Event Selection Criteria. TA retains the right to determine, in its sole absolute discretion, whether any particular applicant, or any employee, agent or representative of any applicant should attend and determine their specific entitlements in line with the policies of the Event, to reject any application for any reason whatsoever, or for no reason at all. Applicants acknowledge that there is no obligation whatsoever on TA to approve applications and that TA may reject any applicant, or any employee, agent or representative of any applicant, with or without reason.
