In preparation for Australia Next, industry partners are encouraged to provide media materials for use by Tourism Australia with domestic and international media attending Australia Next. Opportunities exist for industry partners to provide information on their product, experiences and key stories in the form of factsheets, media releases, images, and video.
Information on companies attending Australia Next will be provided to media prior to arrival in Australia. It is therefore important to ensure you send through any relevant media materials to Tourism Australia as soon as possible, so that this engagement with media can include information on your product, destination, or experience. In addition to pre-sending information, a media kit will also be provided during Australia Next, in order to ensure timely access to images, news, and video.
For factsheets and media releases, your information must be presented in either Word or PDF format, and we encourage including hyperlinks into these documents to improve opportunities for media to discover more about your products. For images, please provide these in full, high resolution (minimum 300dpi) colour. They must be clearly named to identify your business, and be of publishable quality. For video, all general file types can be accepted, however for the purposes of Australia Next, these should be provided in lower resolution to reduce file size.
Please send your fact sheets and media releases to Kirsten Wenborne kwenborne@tourism.australia.com anytime from confirmation of your registration up to and including Friday 9 August, 2024.
For images and video, please bundle these via a service such as Hightail and send these through to Kirsten Wenborne kwenborne@tourism.australia.com – Please note due to restrictions on the size of emails your images and video may not reach us unless you utilise one of these file sharing services.
If you have any questions in relation to submitting media materials, please contact us.
