The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE24) Media Program will be held in Melbourne/Narrm from Friday 17 May to Monday 20 May 2024, in partnership with Visit Victoria.

Run in conjunction with ATE24, the ATE24 Media Program is an opportunity for media delegates to meet one-on-one with Australian tourism businesses, special interest operators, attractions and accommodation providers. Over four days, exhibitor and media delegates will have the opportunity to conduct scheduled business appointments during International Media Marketplace, attend press updates, participate in key networking events, and experience Australia's tourism offerings first-hand through pre- and post-event familiarisations.

The main event in the Media Program, International Media Marketplace (IMM), will take place on Sunday 19 May 2024, presented in partnership with TravMedia.

For media, the pre and post familiarisation program will inspire you to develop engaging content for your audiences as you discover the breadth and depth of Australia's tourism industry. Crafted by our State and Territory Tourism Organisations (STOs), each itinerary will help you rediscover Australia’s icons and explore the richness of Australia’s newest tourism products.

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • State Tourism Organisation (STO) Destination Showcase
  • International Media Marketplace, presented in partnership with TravMedia, enabling media delegates to meet one-on-one with Australian exhibitors during pre-scheduled appointments
  • Press conference program
  • Networking sessions and events for media delegates and exhibitors
  • Access to the trade show floor on day one of ATE24 for media delegates
  • Melbourne day familiarisation for media delegates
  • Pre and post-familiarisation program for media delegates
