You’ll explore ancient landscapes, uncover the secrets of Nilpena’s fossil beds, and marvel at the dramatic beauty of Bunyeroo Valley. At the heart of this experience is Arkaba Conservancy, a 63,000-acre private wildlife haven offering outback luxury at its finest. Experience a taste of the fully-hosted Arkaba Walk, a guided adventure through rugged terrain, graded as a moderate walk. Traverse sandstone bluffs, ancient creek beds, and millennia-old River Red Gums, as you spot kangaroos, emus, and wallaroos in their natural habitat.
Throughout the walk, you’ll encounter the breathtaking amphitheatre of Ikara (Wilpena Pound), pass through Black’s Gap and the striking Red Range, and explore the Elder Ranges, Arkaba Creek, and forests of mallee and cypress pine. After each day’s exploration, return to the beautifully restored 1850s Arkaba Homestead to enjoy chef-prepared three-course dinners, unlimited beverages, and warm hospitality in refined comfort.
Return to Adelaide, and join Southern Cultural Immersion at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens for a meaningful Aboriginal cultural tour.
